How Acutia Brain Health
Supports Brain Function
How well will your brain function five, 10 or 20 years from now?
You can’t predict the future, but you can ensure that you get the nutrients you need today for optimal brain health tomorrow.
Offers essential nutrition +-

Selenium, vitamin C, and omega-3 DHA are all essential nutrients, but they are not produced by your body. They must be derived from your diet or supplements.

Supports cognitive health and brain function +-

Omega-3 DHA supports cognitive health and brain function, and it plays an important structural role in brain tissue.

Supports synthesis of neurotransmitters +-

Vitamin C is a vital antioxidant in the brain. It supports the synthesis of neurotransmitters, which are chemical messengers involved in brain health.

Maintains cell health +-

Antioxidants offer protection against oxidative stress to cells caused by free radicals. While free radicals are produced naturally in the body, exposure to everything from pollution to sunlight can accelerate their production and lead to oxidative stress. Selenium and vitamin C are antioxidants that help to maintain cell health.

Active Ingredients
Omega-3 Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA)

Our DHA is derived from microalgae grown in a highly controlled environment, allowing us to confirm the quality and consistency of our omega-3 source and providing a more sustainable way to source this plant-based ingredient.

While fatty fish and fish oil are common sources of DHA, fish do not produce it — they bioaccumulate DHA through the food chain, at which microalgae is the base. The DHA content in fish and fish oils can vary significantly.

The carefully grown algal DHA in Acutia's products is a more consistent, sustainable and vegetarian source.

Selenium

Our selenium source, Sel-Plex™, is made from a proprietary strain of the brewer’s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which has been researched by our parent company, Alltech, for more than 30 years.

Formulation — or how the ingredients are prepared — is just as important as the ingredients themselves. Sel-Plex™ is formulated specifically for quality, absorption and efficacy.

Vitamin C

Not all forms of vitamin C are equally effective. Our vitamin C is provided by ascorbic acid — the purest, most bioavailable form — meaning it is readily absorbed by the body through the bloodstream for the greatest efficiency.

See What Others Have To Say

I am a mom and grandmother and have been running for 23 years. As I age, I have found that a healthy lifestyle of whole foods and healthy supplements is all the medicine I need. I take my Acutia Brain Health daily right after my morning run. I like that it is easy to order and delivered quickly.

Liz N.

I am a runner and completed my third half-marathon this past October. I also enjoy golfing and love traveling to the beach. I take Acutia Brain Health each morning. After the first few days of taking this supplement, I started noticing a difference! I have less brain fog throughout the day and can focus more on the tasks at hand. It is my new favorite habit.

Colin

Having experienced cognitive decline within our family, I am very keen to do anything I can to preserve my brain health.

Mike D.

I’ve followed Alltech, Acutia’s parent company, for years, and once I realized they had dietary supplements that their scientists were using themselves, I had to try them, too! I feel great, I feel sharp, and I would recommend this product to anyone!

Brian L.

United States

I’m high-energy, performance-focused and lead an active lifestyle. I want to give my best to my family, community and work every day. Acutia helps me stay heathy, supports my immune system and keeps me mentally sharp. So with its convenient packaging, monthly subscription option and environmentally friendly practices, it’s an investment in my health that’s a no-brainer. I like that the products are backed by real science. It’s a total win.

Amy B.

I do not make good dietary choices. With that being said, I know that I need to take supplements to make up for my choices. With Acutia, I can indulge and be confident that I am getting the nutrients I need for my long-term cognitive health. Caring for our brains is like caring for our skin: We need to be preventative. Once the “wrinkles” are there, they cannot be undone.
