Are your products vegetarian/vegan-friendly?

Acutia Selenium is vegan-friendly.

How can I find out if my supplements are free from allergens I need to avoid?

Acutia Selenium is free from: gluten, fish, shellfish, eggs, dairy, soy, peanuts and tree nuts.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We source our ingredients from trusted suppliers around the world, then we test and package them in the U.S.

Are your supplements manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified facility?

Our supplements are manufactured in an FDA registered and National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certified GMP facility and tested by a third-party, independent lab. GMP is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.

How do I compost the refill pouches?

Include your pouch in the compost bin or use your community’s composting service.

What does “FSC-certified” and “SFI-certified” mean?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) are nonprofit organizations that set standards to make sure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner. If the material is labeled as FSC-certified or SFI-certified, it means the material that is used meets the requirements of FSC or SFI, respectively.

What does “100% recycled post-consumer waste” mean?

Post-consumer waste is any material that has been used by a consumer and then collected and reused as a raw material to make a new product.

How do you calculate your shipping emissions and how do you offset them?

We compile the total weight of products that we ship each month and the number of miles that they travel from our shipment center to our customers. We then use the Greenhouse Gas Protocol GHG Emissions from Transport of Mobile Sources tool to determine the CO2 equivalent of the emissions generated from those shipments.

We buy carbon removal tons from the Nori Carbon Removal Marketplace each month to offset those emissions. We feel that Nori provides one of the best possible options for offsetting carbon emissions because they work with farmers in the United States who are adopting regenerative agriculture methods to put carbon back in the soil. In addition to storing carbon, these methods improve soil health and make farmland more resilient during flood and drought events. 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free for U.S. residents, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and military addresses. Shipping costs outside of the U.S. will be calculated in the cart.

Do you ship to international locations?

We do ship to many locations outside of the U.S. Please note that international carrier services have been impacted by COVID-19 and delays for all international shipments are expected. Click here for a list of locations to which we do not ship. Due to the impact of COVID-19 we may temporarily be unable to ship to your location, even if it is not listed.

Do you ship to military addresses?

Yes.

Can I update my shipping address?

Yes. Login to your account and change your address for future orders under the “billing” tab. If an order has already been processed the change will be applied to your next order.

Is it okay for my billing and shipping addresses to be different?

Yes.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Products typically ship within 3-5 days. Please note that carrier services have been impacted by COVID-19 and delays for shipments are expected. You will receive tracking information via email once your shipment has been handed off to the carrier.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships you will receive an email with your shipment tracking number.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards. Payment via Amazon Pay and PayPal are also available.

When will I be billed for my monthly subscription?

Your card will be billed on or around the date of your scheduled shipment. You will receive prior notice of your upcoming shipment within 3 days of your shipment.

Can I delay my next subscription ship date?

Yes. Login to your account to choose your preferred ship date.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime on your account page.

How do I update my billing information?

You can update your billing information on your account page.

What if I forgot my password?

Go to your account login page. Enter the email address you used when signing up and click “forgot password.” You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you forgot which email address you used during your initial sign-up, send us an email at info@acutia.com for assistance. 

What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your product for any reason, supplements may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Email info@acutia.com for assistance.
